Spectrum Interactive, the UK’s largest independent provider of Wi-Fi and related services, has extended its Wi-Fi network to Flybe’s Executive Lounges. Under the contract, Spectrum has deployed a complimentary guest service to eight Flybe Executive Lounges, including Gatwick, Manchester, Glasgow and Edinburgh. Moving away from its incumbent Wi-Fi supplier, Flybe selected Spectrum for its high reliability and customer support service.
Spectrum boasts almost a decade of experience deploying public access internet solutions into high-footfall travel, hospitality and retail environments. This latest contract win further builds on Spectrum’s track record of supplying solutions to airport executive lounges. Last year, the Company announced a roll-out for its Wi-Fi service to all 16 British Airways lounges in the UK. In addition, Spectrum has been a trusted partner of Sevisair since 2002, with Wi-Fi services and internet kiosks at all 22 UK lounges.
Once regarded as a "nice to have", Wi-Fi has become a necessary utility and its availability is now seen as a given. Flybe is one of a growing number of organisations that have come to recognise the power of, not only high quality, always-on connectivity, but free, high quality, always-on connectivity for customers.
